There would be no other woman for the job. Moys (Amanda's Nickname for Moya, as well as Mo, little Mo and little one) and Amanda have been inseparable since the age of 14. So much so Moys is considered the second daughter in the McAllister household. There is no one as considerate and loving as Moya. Through schools, jobs, a country move and most recently for Moys becoming a mum, Amanda wouldn't be able to live without Moys!
Fun Fact: Moys has been Amanda's right hand woman for over 15 years. She is also the best Mummy to two gorgeous twin girls!

Jamie and Connor both moved to Stockholm within weeks of each other during a harsh winter of 2017/2018. Meeting on the way to the first Gaelic Football training of the year. One would later stand out as a Gaelic star to go on to win numerous player of tournaments in the Nordic region and play for Sweden in Aussie Rules. I'll let you figure out which one... Connor has always been in Jamie's corner and his go to man for a round of golf, socialising or just an ear to listen.
Fun Fact: Connor speaks fluent Spanish like a local as he worked in Marqués de Riscal, voted the number one vineyard in the world in 2024.

The younger brother of Jamie.
11 years separates Jamie and Charlie. Born on April Fools, Charlie was bound to be the trickster. What feels like not so long ago (20 years), Jamie used to feed Charlie but is now looking up to him as little brother is now taller. Charlie is the best at video and strategy games. He loves to play different games with Amanda and Jamie when they are home, Charlie always winning of course!
Fun Fact: Charlie won student of the year in both final years of Primary and Secondary school (as voted by the pupils).

No one in this world makes Amanda laugh the way Lori can. She is one of the funniest people she knows! Lori and Amanda bonded over Harry Potter and their love for having a good time and laughing. Anyone that has met Lori, knows how fun and thoughful she is. Amanda and Lori moved together to an all boys secondary school for their A levels, you can ask her more about this at the wedding...
Fun Fact: Lori lived on the same street as Jamie and Amanda when Amanda first moved to Sweden (this was not planned).

If there is a competitive scheme, game, strategy or a master plan, Sully has tried them all. Sully and Jamie can honestly say that bitcoin was the millionaire plan that got away, having learned about in 2015 and studied it in detail during their masters degree in 2017, but of course hold none today... (It is now 300+ times the value today). Sully is the first guy you'd ring when you're stuck without any questions being asked. Sully is a genuine and life-long friend who some day might beat Jamie in golf! ;)
Fun Fact: No one calls Sully Conor. Amanda didn't even know his real name until this website was made haha! Those privileges are for his family and soon to be wife .

Eoin and Jamie have been friends since they can remember. Being in the same schools for 14 years and growing up across the street from one another, they've been through it all. Countless trips, experiences, chatting in each others rooms through teenage years and endless stories to look back and laugh at. Henna has always been popular due to his wit, charm and out-going personality. Henna is a deeply trusted friend of Jamie's, who's there no matter what.
Fun Fact: Henna was suspended from school for telling Queen Elizabeth II she had a nice hat.

Sarah (besides Jamie) is the reason why Amanda stayed and loved Sweden for so long, meeting within days of Amanda moving over. She hit it off straight away with Sarah! Sarah is the nicest person you will ever meet, always up for a party and loves to have plans and be busy. Being Amanda's voice note therapist daily, sharing fitness and healthy eating tips brought the two together! Amanda wouldn't know who to talk to if she didn't have Sarah...
Fun Fact: Sarah no longer lives in Sweden but speaks to Amanda daily.
Living in Sweden (Jamie for 8 years, Amanda for 6 years), we have picked up some Swedish traditions. Therefore, we want to introduce you to our Toast Master and Toast Madame.
What is a Toast Master or Toast Madame?
A toast master/toast madame are those responsible for coordinating entertainment during the dinner and keeping the evening flowing smoothly. Their role is to bring energy, humour, and structure to the celebration, making sure both the couple and guests have a fun and memorable experience.

Karoline is one of the funnest people you will meet, always up for a game and making fun wherever she is. Amanda first met Karoline at Gaelic training having heard soo much good things about her. Karoline is always there if you need her, constantly answering Amanda's 101 medical or baby related questions as Karoline is a midwife. Not only is Karoline a good friend but her husband Dan is also our good friend, we would not be living in Sweden without them.
Fun Fact: Karoline was a figure skater for years and then went on to teaching figure skating. At her Hen party we played a humane Squid Games. It was brilliant!

Owen was an obvious choice for Toast Master for his love and talent of bringing a crowd together to enjoy a game and have fun no matter how simple the rules are. Owen and his wife Cicci, great friends to Jamie and Amanda, are the best hosts of a dinner or game night where there has been many nights past 3am. Owen will always be there for you day or night, he will find a way to help.
There was only one man was for the job.
Fun Fact: Owen was awarded with Student of the Year in Queens University Belfast, 2012. He is also an incredibly talented Irish Dancer!
